Volume 1 Chapter 11: Show You the World

The first day of military training had worn everyone out—even Wen Yang, who was the most athletic of the bunch.

The dorm was unusually quiet. Wang Jie had gone to bed early, snoring before it even hit 9 PM. Zhang Shaoqing and Wen Yang were duo-queuing in a game, but neither had the energy to talk much. The only sounds were the rapid-fire clacks of keyboards and mouse clicks.

Ning Chu had already showered and was now lying in bed in his cool silk pajamas. The fabric was soft and snug, perfect for summer—except that the material was thin, and his little red "dots" on his chest were... rather prominent.

Even though his body was tired, sleep refused to come. He lay on his side, watching Zhang Shaoqing’s monitor, hoping to pick up some gameplay tricks so he wouldn’t get roasted the next time he played with Wen Yang.

It had been over a week since he transmigrated here. Contrary to his expectations of some chaotic, lust-filled hentai world, this world didn’t seem that different from his previous one.

Well... except for the occasional demi-human girl, prettier women in general, and skimpier outfits.

And they seemed a bit more... forward?

So why hasn’t any girl made a move on him? Is it because Wen Yang is the protagonist?

Ning Chu sighed and buried his face into the pillow.

From the corner of his eye, he noticed Zhang Shaoqing’s game had ended—the Victory screen was up. A moment later, he tabbed out and launched a video player. Resting his head in one hand, Zhang Shaoqing leaned in and started watching a movie intently.

Even Wen Yang looked over, curiosity piqued. He moved his chair over and reminded him, “Turn it down a bit. Wang Jie’s already asleep.”

“Yeah, yeah.”

Movie night, huh?

A dorm room classic.

Lying sideways on his bed, Ning Chu glanced at the screen. The video had high production value, a beautiful female lead, and stunning visuals. It immediately caught his interest.

“What movie is this?” he asked.

“Why ask? Just come watch it yourself.”

Zhang Shaoqing crossed one leg over the other, grabbed a bag of chips from the drawer, and tore it open.

“I’m coming!”

Excited, Ning Chu hopped off the bed, dragged over his chair, and was about to sit beside Zhang Shaoqing when he froze for a moment—then quickly shifted to sit next to Wen Yang instead.

That guy’s the villain.

Even if he seems normal now, it’s safer to stick with the protagonist.

“What, am I that repulsive?” Zhang Shaoqing grumbled. “What’s your problem, dude? Are you just jealous of rich people? You’ve been weird around me since day one—like I was a ghost or something.”

“Yeah. Jealous of rich people,” Ning Chu deadpanned.

“Come on, man. My dad and grandpa both worked hard to get where we are. Don’t blame me. Blame your dad for not trying harder.”

Ning Chu didn’t bother replying to that nonsense. He wasn’t really some hardcore class warrior. So he turned his attention to the screen and focused on the movie.

But after a minute or two... something felt off.

Was this movie a little too... intense?

Barely two minutes in, the female lead was already getting handsy with a guy. Her clothes were practically halfway off.

Wait... is this even censored?!

He instinctively leaned back, feeling the same awkward energy as a grandpa watching someone’s phone on the subway. Then he glanced at the others—both guys were watching like it was the World Cup Finals.

Oh god. This really is a porn.

At least Wen Yang was composed and watching silently. But Zhang Shaoqing? He was full-on commentating.

“Damn, she’s hot. And those curves? So smooth~”

The scene was reaching its peak. Ning Chu awkwardly averted his gaze, staring at the dorm room door instead—though he couldn’t help but sneak a glance or two back at the screen.

Not because it’s spicy! Just... scientific curiosity. Cultural research.

...Okay, the girl's boobs were big. And very white.

This was definitely the first time he’d had an experience like this.

In his previous life, he’d only watched a few out of pure curiosity. He’d only heard of famous stars like Aoi or Rola by name—never even watched them. And definitely never shared the experience with roommates.

With two other guys next to him, he felt too awkward to focus. He didn’t even dare stare at the screen for more than a second. His ears were burning red with embarrassment.

The speaker volume was low to avoid waking Wang Jie, but the soft, sultry moans still made their way into Ning Chu’s ears—clear as day.

Perverted thoughts began flooding Ning Chu’s mind like garbage overflowing from a tipped dumpster.

He pressed his lips together, his body temperature climbing as his heart beat faster and faster. His legs instinctively pressed together, his hands wrapped around his lower stomach, and his brows furrowed slightly.

Something… didn’t feel right.

He was suddenly craving a hug. Not out of loneliness or sadness—but something else. Something warmer, more physical. His senses were acutely aware of Wen Yang and Zhang Shaoqing sitting beside him, and he couldn’t help glancing in their direction.

Wen Yang had casually crossed his legs. Zhang Shaoqing, meanwhile, was hunched forward slightly—just enough to block Ning Chu’s line of sight.

Extreme recoil control, huh.

Ning Chu instantly read between the lines. But the real issue lay not in their reactions, but in... his own.

Why wasn’t his little brother reacting at all?!

His cheeks were burning red. A soft, delicate pink crept from the tips of his ears down to his neck. His breath was warm, almost shallow, his entire body caught in a storm of confusion and tension. His clenched legs were rubbing together unconsciously, seeking relief.

He exhaled slowly—then suddenly bolted upright and dashed out of the dorm room in panic.

“…Tch. Look at that, like he’s never seen the world before,” Zhang Shaoqing snorted, throwing a chip in his mouth as he watched Ning Chu go wash his face on the balcony. “Don’t tell me he’s still a virgin.”

Wen Yang’s face froze mid-smile.

“…Wait. Are you too?” Zhang Shaoqing raised a brow.

Wen Yang quickly looked away, defending himself weakly: “C’mon, you saw how many girls in class are chasing after me. You really think I’m the same as him?”

“Ohhh~” Zhang Shaoqing stroked his chin thoughtfully, a grin curling on his lips. “So in this dorm, only little Ning Chu is the poor innocent flower. Maybe we should take him out this weekend—y’know, broaden his horizons.”

“That’s... not really appropriate, is it?” Wen Yang hesitated.

“What? Getting cold feet?”

“I just don’t think he’s the type who’d want to go to that kind of place.”

Zhang Shaoqing sighed exaggeratedly. “Yeah, he is kind of shy. That personality of his—”

“I’ll go.”

Ning Chu’s voice cut in suddenly.

The two whipped around to see him standing by the balcony door.

“I’ll go. As long as you’re paying.”

“You serious?” Zhang Shaoqing blinked.

“Yup. Let’s see this ‘world’ you keep talking about.” Ning Chu smiled sweetly.

Zhang Shaoqing scratched his head, now suddenly unsure. He did know where to go—but looking at Ning Chu’s baby-faced, soft-featured appearance, he couldn’t help feeling… guilty.

“Uh, well…”

“You’ve never even been, have you?” Ning Chu snorted, throwing him a mocking look before turning away and climbing back into bed.

Part of him is genuinely curious about the so-called “human-animal-girl establishments” of this world.

But another part had an ulterior motive.

In the novel, Zhang Shaoqing was raised under strict parental discipline. If he ever went to a place like that before his character snapped and turned into the novel’s twisted villain, his dad would probably break both his legs.

So maybe it was that pent-up repression that eventually made him crack?

Ning Chu rolled over in bed, pulling the covers up over his head as he curled into a ball and sighed in frustration.

Everything in his life just seemed to be getting worse...

Why does my lil' guy have zero motivation these days??

Serious answers only. This is urgent. Online and crying.
